The Powell (Newcastle Emlyn) Manuscripts belonged to Dr. T. W. W. Powell (d.1944), and consist of an essay on the history and meaning of place-names in the parishes of Cenarth and Llandyfriog; an essay on ruins in the Rhydlewis districs, South Cardiganshire; an elegy on the death of Dr. Joshua Powell, Adpar; and a history of the parish of Troedyraur, Cardiganshire.
