Scope and Content

Series of short articles on a number of themes or topics from a socialist or trade union perspective. It was produced by volunteers and the way it was printed and copied has meant that in some cases the ink has bled through the page making it difficult to read some pages.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Revolutionary Communist Party was a British Trotskyist group, formed in 1944 and active until 1949, which published the newspaper Socialist Appeal, a theoretical journal Workers International News and a paper for its Labour Party supporters The Militant which used the by-line "the monthly organ of the Socialist Left of the Labour Party".
