The collection contains a large number of photographs representing all areas of Peter Slade's work. For conservation reasons these photographs were removed where possible from their black backing paper, from which any captions or numbers were transferred onto archival paper, and placed in a polyester sleeve. An attempt was then made to reconstruct the original order, which had become extremely confused: this was aided by the EDA system of colour coding their photographs. The class has thus been divided into the following:
