Administrative / Biographical History

Charles Frederick Bowles of Haverfordwest and Elizabeth Sing of Portia Terrace, Swansea were married in 1895 after an engagement lasting three years. The letters are often preoccupied with each other’s health, the weather and domestic details, but taken as a whole they reflect the changes in family life in Swansea across sixty years.
