Administrative / Biographical History

St Mary's was the parish church of Caerau near Cardiff. It was restored from a ruinous condition in 1960 but was deconsecrated for a second time in 1973 and has now become a ruin again. The Friends of the church were formed in 1996 to campaign for its preservation. The graveyard was originally surveyed by Glamorgan Family History Society in 1982.
