Akram Khan Company is an award-winning dance company founded by dancer and choreographer Akram Khan and producer Farooq Chaudhry in 2000. In 2005, Akram Khan was awarded an MBE for his services to dance. He has collaborated with many high profile artists such as Juliette Binoche, Sylvie Guillem, Kylie Minogue and Anish Kapoor. Seen by millions worldwide, Khan choreographed and performed a moving scene at the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, and holds a number of honorary fellowships and personal awards.
