Scope and Content

A buff coloured envelope containing a Mohawk Paper Mills Graphics Collection that features twelve prints of Ivan Chermayeff's work. The prints are enclosed in a portfolio with the name 'Chermayeff' embossed in gold along the bottom of the front flap. A print of Ivan Chermayeff's signature is showing through a cut out square above the name. The three flaps that enclose the prints contain information about Mr. Chermayeff and along the bottom inner flap the word MOHAWK has 'Graphics Collection' embossed in gold across it. The collection was put together to promote the new Mohawk Superfine and free copies were available from Mohawk paper distributors. Items AR/01/Gra/040/1 to AR/01/Gra/040/15 inclusive are all part of the portfolio collection. The remaining two items AR/01/Gra/040/16 and AR/01/Gra/040/17, the newspaper clippings, were packaged with the portfolio when it was received at the University.
