(1) ff. 1-10; (2) ff. 11-25. 27.3 x 18.7 cm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 22.5 x 17 cm. (average). Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin. Hiragana-majiri text with some printed furigana. 15 lines to page, variable no. of characters to line. Original dark blue covers, formerly embossed, now faded and discoloured. Title slips missing, hence no gedai. Title from mokurokudai and head of maki 1. Hashiragaki: Muyūshū 夢遊集 + folio no. Edition: The only pre-modern edition of this work is the one published in Keian 3 慶安三年 (1650), to which the present copy no doubt belongs. Contents: A kana-zōshi work expounding Buddhist teachings in popular style.

- 2 volumes Condition: Fair. Most folios soiled, but no worm damage. Both maki re-backed by urauchi throughout. Impression: An early impression, sharp and clear. Illustrations: One double-page sumizuri illustration on ff. 3b-4a of maki 1, followed by 8 single-page woodcuts, 3 in maki 1 and 5 in maki 2. All are in the style of Hishikawa Moronobu and may well be attributable to him. Seals of ownership: None.
