Scope and Content

A volume of 'englynion' and a few 'cywydd' couplets in the hand of David Jones, Trefriw ('Dewi Fardd a 'sgrifenodd y Mydrlyfr hwn'). Custodial History

The volume bears the names, probably in the same hand as that which inscribed the Latin 'englynion', of Ismael Dafydd (Ishmael Dafyd), printer at Trefriw, Edmd. Prys, 'Almnaciwr [sic] o Ddeheubarth Cymru', and Thomas Evans, 'goed gwdir Trefriw'.
