Papers relating to the training and career of Marion Papworth as a midwife, including a case book submitted for the Central Midwives Board for Scotland examination (1940-1941), and certficates and papers relating to her training as a state registered nurse at West London Hospital, Hammersmith, and her acceptance as a pupil midwife at Simpson Memorial Maternity Pavilion (1940), together with the certificate issued by the Central Midwives Board for Scotland (1941), and a uniform booklet issued by the General Nursing Council for England and Wales.
