Scope and Content

This collection consists of lecture notes on general nursing taken by Brenda Slaney in 1941. Badge on front cover of notebook reads 'Royal Orthopaedic Hospital for the cure of crippled children'. Slaney became the Royal College of Nursing adviser and course tutor in occupational health. Various papers and photographs relating to Brenda Slaney's career in nursing, most prominently in Occupational Health, 1955-1996 were added to the collection later. These include:

1 envelope containing photographs;
