Scope and Content

Comprises extracts from 'One Hundred Years at St John's Independent Church, Jersey, C. I. Historical Statement, by Rev J. Crichton Jack', 1909. Th extracts made chiefly concern Francois Perrot who figures in the London Missionary Society archives as a student of Dr Bogue at Gosport. Perrot was granted £100 in 1815 for promoting Christianity in France. Includes pencil sketches of Francois Perrot made by Irene Fletcher, 1952.

The original work was printed privately in Jersey by Labey & Son, and loaned to Irene Fletcher [London Missionary Society Librarian & Archivist] by Miss Piquet, a descendant of Judge Piquet [Picot] and of the Perrots. Extracts presumably typed by Miss Fletcher.
