Mary Katharine Trevelyan nee Bell [Molly]'s correspondence and papers

This series comprises content accumulated by Mary during her lifetime and includes correspondence and papers relating to her involvement with numerous organisations including the Women's Institute, Women's Liberal Federation and her position as a Justice of the Peace.

There is also substantial content relating to Mary's personal life, including her childhood, family and domestic matters and personal interests.

The arrangement in this series reflects the arrangement of the materials prior to their deposit at Newcastle University, groupings which were likely to have been made by Mary and her family. As a result, letters from specific individuals or related to certain events may be found in multiple sub-series. The sub-series are as follows:
