Contains three letters sent to W.E. Styler.
The first is a typed letter from A.E. Morgan written from Bristol. Morgan mentions his belief in the importance of the Department of Adult Education to the University of Hull and states that he enclosed a small contribution to a retirement present for a Mr Raynor (possibly the sum of £1.1.0 annotated on the letter) but was unable to attend Mr Raynor's retirement ceremony.
The second is a handwritten letter from A.E. Morgan written from Bristol. It begins with Morgan thanking Styler for his pamphlet 'Tutors for a University'. Morgan goes on to suggest that, unlike T.R. Ferens, Morgan wished to put some stress on adult education and explains his involvement and the involvement of other individuals in the development of adult education at the University of Hull.
The third is a typed letter from J.H. Nicholson thanking W.E. Styler for his pamphlet 'Tutors for a University' and praising him for the conclusions he reaches in the pamphlet. Nicholson also praises the University of Hull for employing mainly full time and part time tutors for adult learners rather than 'casual' teachers.
