Small collection of certificates relating to teacher training from the late 19th century

Administrative / Biographical History

From the records we know that Mary Jane McLoughlin was born in Hull in February 1864 and undertook teaching training at Liverpool Training College between 1884-1885. She worked in a number of schools including as Head Mistress at St Gregory’s School in Hull (between 1889-1892) and Roman Catholic School in Barton-on-Humber (1900-1903).
