Scope and Content

Two fragmentary tune-books: the first, ff. 1-10, apparently in the hand of William Owen, contains hymn tunes, perhaps composed by him; the second, ff. 11-61, begins in a hand not William Owen's (with pagination beginning with 29 on f. 11) and includes anthems and hymn tunes, the volume was then used, reversed, by William Owen for draft setting of tunes.
