Collection: E. Norman Kneale

CD of scanned negatives taken by E. Norman Kneale of Railway workers between Llandudno Junction and Holyhead, including the Anglesey line, and Wrexham and Mold and the Britannia bridge reconstruction.

E. Norman Kneale was born in Birkenhead in 1931. He went to sea [c.1948] and was invalided out in 1951-1952. He convalesced at Alford in Surrey which provided farm training for ex merchant seamen and had a scholarship from there to Shropshire Farm Institute. He worked in Surrey as an assistant farm manager and came up to North Wales when his parents retired.

He then worked in Ferodo and was a member of Beaumaris Camera Club.
