Scope and Content

The David Browne papers mainly consist of notes, reports and correspondence relating to Browne's work on the 1969 Charles Daniels expedition to Fezzan and the stone implements he found there, and his work at Sidi Khrebish in 1971. The collection also covers some correspondence from the Society of Libyan Studies and postcards of Libya from 1969 - 1971.

David Browne accompanied Charles Daniels on a 1969 University of Newcastle expedition to Fazzan in 1969.
