William Lowe, [1767?]-1837.

Lowe was a surgeon in Stockport. He was married in 1789 and died on 18 September 1837, aged 70 years. He was buried in All Saints Church Manchester. Amelia Lowe, the daughter of a William Lowe, surgeon, was married in Manchester in December 1837, with James Lowe as a witness. This may be the same William Lowe, or could correspond to a William Lowe MRCS, again a surgeon of Stockport, who was born before 1785 but died after 1847, so would have been alive at the time of the marriage.
