Administrative / Biographical History

Jones was a former lecturer in child health at the University of Manchester. She was educated at the Royal Free Medical School, London and qualified in 1957.She was lecturer, senior lecturer and reader in paediatric oncology at the University of Manchester from 1966-1993, and a consultant paediatric oncologist at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital from 1971-1993. She published over 100 papers on paediatric oncology.
