This oral history collection comprises 56 interviews and five summaries without audio conducted between October 2006 to June 2007 by the East Midlands Economic Network. Interviews explore the memories of current and previous residents of Belgrave, Leicester and examine significant changes to the built and social fabric of the area.

Administrative / Biographical History
The Belgrave Memories Project was ran by Tim Haq and William Law of the East Midlands Economic Network and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. A Belgrave Memories Booklet was produced alongside an exhibition that took place at St. Alban’s Centre in Belgrave, 11 December 2007. An open radio event took place at BBC Radio Leicester, including a fashion show of Belgrave clothing over the past 70 years.
