Administrative / Biographical History

Adwick High School, provided by the West Riding County Council, was known as Woodlands Middle School between 1927 and 1934 and then Woodlands Senior School from 1934 to April 1965. It then took the name of Adwick High School until 1968.

Adwick High School was amalgamated with the Percy Jackson Grammar School (see SR160), to become Adwick School (see SR128) from the autumn term 1968.
