Hatfield Court of Requests: Thorne County Court

This small debts court was established by an Act of 1839 (2 and 3 Vict cap xcvll) and was superseded by the Thorne County Court under the provisions of the Act of 1846. The court made annual returns of its accounts to the West Riding Quarter Sessions where they are to be found at QE16. It was superseded by the Thorne County Court under the Act of 1846
