Scope and Content

Goschen was the Secretary of the Lend a Hand Club to London Society. Answering letter passed on to her by Lady Beatrice Kemp asking for help at meeting on 2 Jun. Sorry this is impossible as Committee decided not to be associated with politics or any particular cause because views of members differed. She herself very strongly against women's suffrage and therefore 'could not help towards persuading ladies helping at Girls' Clubs to take their members to the meeting.'
