Geoffrey Henry Hewlett Dwyer, b 1924.

Dwyer was educated at the University of Manchester and received his medical degree in 1953. He held house and resident appointments at MRI, Salford Royal Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Park Hospital Davyhulme. Dwyer was later a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Salford Group of Hospitals. He became FRCOG in 1974.
