Blackbird Leys School opened in 1959 and was renamed Wesley Green Middle School in 1973. The school shared a site with Orchard Meadow First School and the Mabel Prichard School and closed in 2003. At the time of cataloguing the site was occupied by Orchard Meadow Primary School.
