Photograph of Legros, 'Le penseur'. Numbered and annotated on reverse for inclusion in Harold Wright's projected Legros catalogue (376vii). Before sand-grain effect which shows in B's next state; 8th. This plate needs comparing at Minneapolis, as their impression seems to be an intermediate state between 7 and 8, with some burnishing on landscape, sky, post sack, etc
