    • 1 text 213 ff. Materials : Paper. Dimensions : 300 mm x 220 mm; text boxes 247 mm x 152 mm. Foliation : Western. Ruling : Main text includes text boxes in red ink. Script : In Serto Syriac (Garshuni). Ink : Main text is in black ink with red catchwords. Chapter headings and decorative beginnings are in red, black, blue, yellow, orange and green inks, with occasional gold leaf. Binding : Original stamped brown leather bindings with wooden (?) boards; cloth visible from spine.

A Garshuni translation of Bar Hebraeus'' work Menarat Qudše, ''the Lamp of the Sanctuary''. ff. 1-4v : Various illustrations of the Cross as the Tree of Life. f. 5v. : The cross with a guide the views of the main Eastern Christian sects on the nature of Christ. f. 6r: A map of the Temple. f. 6v: A chart of the Zodiac with the names of the segments in Arabic and Syriac. f. 7r-v: An astronomical explanation Aʾṭam al-kawākib. f. 8v: A chart of the constellations Mashrāyāte d-sahrā. f. 9r: A chart of the phases of the moon. f. 9v: A map of Europe, West Asia and North Africa, projected from the north looking south. f. 10r: A Cross with the inscription Šúbḥā azmar ṣúrtā ʿatrúṣ ramzā ʿeḥbúš. f. 10v-213r: Text of Minārah al-aqdās. The text was translated by Shamas Sargis ibn Yuhanna al-Dimashqi al-Zarbabi and was produced at the Mar Grigorius Church in Aleppo, Syria in 1696.
