Administrative / Biographical History

This company was founded in 1934 by Frank Henman, brother of Philip Henman (who founded the national road haulage and warehousing company, the Transport Development Group), to manufacture twisted high tensile steel for concrete reinforcement. Philip Henman provided the financial backing and advice.
