The Calenduline Company was based in Chicago and manufactured products including "Lowry's Calenduline" a treatment for the eye, throat, urethra, nose, stomach, bladder and pyogenic membranes. Material relating to Lowry's Calenduline makes up the majority of the collection based at the Thackray Museum of Medicine. Other products sold by Calenduline included Mintanol Mouth Wash, Lowry's Eczema Dressing, Lowry's Liquid Bismuth and Lowry's Eye Tonic.
