Letters send to the Rev W. D. Macray

A small collection of letters sent to the Rev. William Dunn Macray from William Hardy, Henry Maxwell Lyte and others regarding his edition of the Chronicle of Ramsey Abbey for the Rolls Series.

Found in the Mirfield Collection copy of the Chronicon Abbatiea Ramesiensis (1886) in the Gurney Library at the Borthwick Institute.

Reverend Macray's antiquarian papers are deposited at Oxford University, Magdalen College Archives. His research papers, autograph collection and a notebook are deposited at the Bodleian Library Special Collections.
