Scope and Content

This volume contains a chronicle of Mekke (Makkah al-Mukarrimah) by Süheyli, giving an account of the rebuilding of the Kâbe (Kaaba) after its destruction in 1039 AH (1630 CE). The text contains a single unvan and gilded medallion on f 1v. The manuscript was copied by Halit İbn-i Ahmet İbn-i Mehmet İbn-i Abdullah el-Maliki el-Caferi, probably in the late 17th or early 18th centuries CE.
