This volume contains the following works:. (I) ff 1v-42v : Divan of Fa'izi (Kafzade, who died in 1031 AH/1621-22 CE or 1032 AH/1622-23 CE), which is divided as follows: kasideler beginning with a na't (ff 1v-21r), followed by gazeller (ff 21v-38v), kıt'alar and chronograms (ff 38v-41r), and finally a matali (ff 41r-42v);. (II) ff 43v-56r : Gazeller of Vecdi (Abdülbaki Vecdi, died 1071 AH/1660-61 CE). This section bears the title Merhum Beylikçi Vecdi Efendi'nin bazı gazelleridir. Between ff 48v and 54r are nazireler on poems of Vecdi by Naili (died 1077 AH/1666-67 CE), Mezaki (died 1087 AH/1676-77 CE), and Fethi (written in a different hand) in the margin. On f 56r is a note, dated 1094 AH (1682-83 CE) to the effect that the manuscript from which these gazeller were copied was defective in some places, such that it is necessary to collate these passages with another and more correct manuscript. A later hand has added the date 1165 AH (1751-52 CE) in a red;. (III) ff 57v-61v : Poems of Şehri, a poet who may be tentatively identified with Şehri of Malatya (died 1071 AH/1660-61 CE). The poems, some of which have been written vertically in order to save space, consists of gazeller not arranged alphabetically. Although this text is in a different hand, it is roughly contemporaneous with the other sections of the manuscript. The remaining sections of the volume are entitled: Lahta defterdari iken Yusuf Efendi nam bir arif-i vilayet kolu ile zindegani edemeyip ahvalleri beyan ve zebanlarını ayan kol taifesinden şikayet (f 62r); Bu kaside-i merhum ve mağfur lehu Sultan Ahmet Han'a Nasuh Paşa'yı katl ettikte şuaradan biri demiş (f 62v); and Uṣūl Fātiḥat al-kitāb (أصول فاتحة الكتاب) wıth an Arabic poem by al-Ghazzālī and some chronograms. The manuscript was likely copied primarily in the late 17th century CE.
