Scope and Content

This volume contains histories of the Prophets and legendary kings. The original text is ascribed to Ḥasan ibn Nāṣir al-Balkhī. Very little is known about the author of this work, which might have been translated from a now-lost Arabic or Persian original. This manuscript was copied in the late 17th century.
