Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetry of Seyit Hüseyin Vehbi (died 1149 AH/1736-37 CE). The text begins with verses on the tevhit, followed by na't (ff 2v-4r), and kasideler (ff 4v-66v). There are several mesneviler (ff 67r-77r), immediately followed by gazeller (ff 77v-105v). Afterwards are the du-beyitler (ff 106v-107r), tahmisat (ff 107r-109r), further kasideler (ff 109v-113r), Rubaiyat (ff 113v-114v), müfredat (ff 114v-116v), lügaziyat (ff 117r-119r), and lastly chronograms (ff 119v-131r). At the end of this copy, which is largely without rubrications, there is a note in Arabic to the effect that there are 127 chronograms in this Divan. The manuscript is not dated, but was likely copied in the 18th century CE.
