Scope and Content

This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the Rasā'il ikhwān al-ṣafā (رسائل احوان الصفا) dealing with the contest of humans with animals. The translator of the work is given as Lami'i Çelebi, who wrote it in 933 AH (1526-27 CE). The text is imperfect at the start. This manuscript was likely copied in the first half of the 17th century CE.
