Scope and Content

This volume contains a manual of prosody and rhyme compiled for Prince Mustafa in 956 AH (1549-50 CE) by Süruri-i Acem (Musliheddin Mustafa Efendi, who died in 968 AH/1560-61 CE). The work is divided into 3 makaleler and a hatime. At the end of the text are short addenda account prosody. The manuscript was likely copied in the late 17th or early 18th centuries CE.
