Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetry of Mehmet Ragıp Paşa (died 1176 AH/1762-63 CE). The Divan is divided into:. ff 1v-4v : Kasideler, beginning with a chronogram in Persian, in commemoration of Es'at Efendi becoming Müfti, followed by other poems of the same nature, including chronograms;. ff 5v-36v : Gazeller in alphabetical order, beginning with one in Persian;. ff 37r-39v : Rubaiyat, some of which are in Persian, and some beyitler (f 39v). The text contains two unvans. The manuscript was likely copied in the early 19th century CE.
