Scope and Content

This volume contains a collection of Aḥādīth translated into Ottoman Turkish with a commentary by Okçuzade Mehmet Sahi (died 1039 AH/1629-30 CE). The text features marginal annotations throughout in various hands, and a selection of poems on f 2r. The main text is followed by a table of contents on ff 158v-160r. This manuscript was copied by Mahmud İbn-i Fazlullah el-Mahmud (f 2r) and was completed in Cemaziülevel 1029 AH (April 1620 CE).
