Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected biographies of Ottoman Turkish poets completed in 1018 AH (1609 CE) by Riyazi (Mehmet İbn-i Mustafa), who died in 1054 AH (1644 CE). This copy is provided with a table of contents (ff 1r-3r) made in 1174 AH (1760-61 CE) by Ali İbn-i Ahmet. The manuscript was copied in 1056 AH (1646-47 CE).
