This volume contains the first Divan (f 2v) of Emiri, who, apparently, is not mentioned by any of the tezkere writers. His full name as given in the colophon (f 361r) is as follows: Emiri Mehmet İbn-i Musa Paşa İbn-i Ahmet-i Surh İbn-i İbrahim İbn-i İsfendiyar İbn-i Bayezit İbn-i Emir-i Adil İbn-i Yakup İbn-i Şemseddin Candar İbn-i Alp Arslan İbn-i Nureddin, el-şehit min ebna Halid İbn-i Valit. Apart from this, the only other information that the manuscript offers regarding Emiri is in the second of the two blue and white şemseler with gold floral decoration (ff 1v-2r). The first of these gives the contents of the various sections of the Divan with the number of verses in each written in gold. The second mentions Emiri Mehmet ez ümera-yi padişah-i cihan Sultan Murat Han (i.e. Murat III). The poet may have been a Sancak beyi and was perhaps the son of Musa Paşa, Kızıl Ahmetli (died 951 AH/1544 CE), the Beylerbeyi of Erzerum. The Divan begins with Persian gazeller, which open with a mesnevi, followed by a münacat (ff 4r-15r), mevıza (ff 15v-16v), further münacat not arranged according to the kafiye (ff 17r-21r), Kitabu'l-nu'ut (ff 21v-40r), rubaiyat on the Chahār Yār and the Twelve Imams (ff 40r-42r), and poems in praise of Murat III. The poems continue with gazeller (ff 60v-330v) in Persian rhyming in a particular letter, followed by some in Ottoman Turkish with the same rhyme. Poems by Hüseyni were added later in the margins of the main text. The remaining items are Persian murabba'at (ff 330v-334r), mukattaat in Persian and Ottoman Turkish (ff 334v-340r), müfredat in Persian and Ottoman Turkish (ff 340v-359r), Iltimās-i duᶜā (التماس دعا), a Persian mesnevi (ff 359r-v), Khātımah-i sukhan (خاتمۀ سخن), another Persian mesnevi (ff 359v-360v), Pand-i khyud (پند خیود) (ff 360v-361r), and Fī aqrān al-īmān (فی اقران ایمان) (f 361r), two similar poems in Persian. The text contains three unvans. Each section is headed by small unvans, each one differing from the others. The designs and colours are characteristic of Ottoman Turkish work of this kind (f 42v). The manuscript was copied from an autograph of the poet by Fethullah İbn-i Şemseddin el-Bağdadi at İstanbul in 995 AH (1586-87 CE).
