Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetry of Cihan Şah Kara Koyunlu (Jahān-Shāh Qara Qoyūnlū; died 872 AH/1467-68 CE), who used the mahlas Hakiki. The Divan contains his gazeller in Persian (ff 1v-45r) followed by those in Azerbaijani (ff 45v-80r), and ends with his rubaiyat (ff 80v-85r). There are a further two poems by Hakiki's contemporary, Farrukh, on f 85v. The text contains two unvans and a table of contents on f 1r. The manuscript was copied in 893 AH (1488-89 CE) by Kanbar Ali İbn-i Hüsrev el-İsfahani (Qanbar-ᶜalī ibn Khusraw al-Iṣfahānī).
