This volume contains verses in Old Anatolian Turkish selected from the poetic works of Sultan Veled (623-712 AH/1226-1312 CE) and his father Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi (604-672 AH/1207-1273 CE). The verses are transcribed and edited with notes and apparatus criticus in German by the German orientalist and Islamicist Franz Taeschner (1896-1967 CE). There does not appear to be another copy of this work. The contents of the work include: Verses from the Divan of Sultan Veled (ff 3r-18r); Verses from the İbtidaname of Sultan Veled (19r-28r); Verses from the Divan-ı kebir of Celaleddin-i Rumi (29r-32r). Verse begins (f 3r): 1) Baqma bana baqma bana bŭ göz-ilä bŭ göz-ilä * Ǧān gözini gär acasin, sän nola sän nola. Though undated, the work was probably authored between 1935 and 1945 CE.
