Scope and Content

This volume contains the collected poetry of Sakıb, a poet who died in 1129 AH (1716-17 CE). After a short preface, the Divan begins with kasideler (ff 2v-8r), of which the first is entitled Tebrik-i kudum-i Fermanfermayi iklim-i Kırım Devlet Giray Han. This section ends with a mesnevi and a terciibent (ff 8r-9v), which are followed by gazeller (ff 10v-77r); rubaiyat (ff 78v-79r); and chronograms (ff 79v-81r), the latest of which is dated 1123 AH (1711-12 CE). The text contains a single unvan. The manuscript was copied in 1168 AH (1754-55 CE).
