Scope and Content

This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the book of prayers compiled in Arabic by Shams al-Dīn Abu'l-Khayr Muḥammad ibn al-Jazarī (died 833 AH/1429-30 CE) and entitled al-Ḥisn al-ḥaṣīn min kalām Sayyid al-mursalīn (الحسن الحصين من كلام سيد المرسلين). The translator's name is provided on f 3r as Hacı Ahmet İbnü'l-Şeyh Tacü'l-Arifin. This text contains a single unvan. This manuscript was copied in 1165 AH (1751-52 CE) by Mehmet İbnü'l-Hacc Hüseyin known as Mahallizade.
