This volume contains a work on the apportionment of inheritances according to the Hanefi school of jurisprudence. The text pauses abruptly midway through f 18v and recommences on 19r in the same hand and style. Though the volume is presented as a single work, the text throughout ff 19r-63v is Mehmed ibn-i Mustafa ibn Mahmud İstanbuli's Feraiz-i vafiye (see Or 16145). The author of the text up to 18v is not named, and its content differs from others on the same subject in the British Library's collection. Begins:. Elhamdü li-veliyih ve's-salat ala nebiyyih Muhammed ve alih ecmain ve bad. Ends (18v):. Mes'ele: bir kimesne fevt fevt oldukda bir er karındaşı oğlunun kızını ve bir daha (?) kız karındaşı kızının oğlunu terk eylese cümle malı er karındaşı oğlunun kızına düşer zira. Begins (19r):. Üht li-ebeveyn: beş hali vardır nısıf …-i usubet müşterike-i usubet mahza sukut bir olursa nısıf iki olursa…. Ends:. …bunlardan her biri varis oldukları sahibi malından bir nesne almaz bundan gayri terekesinden hisse-i Şeriyelerin alırlar, elhamdülillahi ale't-temam. The colophon on f 63v states that the work was copied by Ragıp Mustafa on 23 Şevval (?) 1213 AH/30 Mar 1799 CE.
