    • 3 texts 191 ff Materials : Paper. Dimensions : 218 mm x 155 mm. Foliation : Western, 191 ff. Ruling : No text boxes except for 1v-10r, 181v, and 182v-190r, ruled in gold leaf, 180 mm x 100 mm. Script : Nesih. Ink : Mainly in black ink with red used for catchwords, titles and colophon; gold leaf used for illumination and text boxes. Binding : Western, binding collapsed on spine.

Scope and Content

ff. 1v-181v : A history covering the years 1094 AH to 1157 AH (1683 CE to 1745 CE) written by Haci İbrahim Naim ül-Din of Temesvár/Timişoara. There is one unvan on f. 1v in gold leaf featuring floral motifs. The ink on some pages has been smeared. The manuscript is in the author's own hand and was written in Ramazan 1178 AH (February 1765 CE). ff. 182v-190v : A separate text, in the same hand as the first, under the title Bin Yüz Altmış Dokuz Senesinde. This is a continuation of the previous history (?) up to the year 1171 AH (1756-57 CE) in both poetry and prose, including the feats of various Ottoman notables. ff. 189v-190r feature various short poems, entitled Gazel-i Türkmani, Gazel-i diğer Türkmani, Sima'i Varsağı and Müstezad. This section of the text contains no colophon. A short Arabic invocation is found on f. 190v, and various lines of marginalia in a different hand from the main text are found on 191v.
