Scope and Content

This volume contains the compiled poetry of Ali Nakşi Akkermani, better known as a writer of mystical mesneviler. He died in 1062 AH (1651-52 CE) according to Rossi, and in 1065 AH (1654-55 CE) according to the Yazma Divanlar Kataloğu. This copy begins with a prose preface. On f 90v is a poem by Eşrefoğlu and on f 91r begin the Tazarruat of Nakşi copied in a rık'a hand of approximately the same date as the rest of the manuscript. This manuscript was copied in 1260 AH (1844-45 CE).
