Scope and Content

This volume contains a treatise by Musa İbnü'l-Hacc Hüseyin of İznik (died 833 AH/1429-30 CE) in which the author treats the various parts of the body from the moral and religious point of view. The work is divided into 14 ebvap, each of which deals with a particular part of the body. Each chapter is subdivided into two sections that discuss the goodness and evil of the part concerned, the author's case being based on ayat and quotations from the Aḥādīth. This text is provided with a table of contents (ff 1v-2v). This manuscript was likely copied in the late 16th or early 17th centuries CE.
