Scope and Content

This volume contains the following four of the five poems forming the Hamse-yi Nevizade Atayi (died 1045 AH/1635-36 CE) :. (I) ff 4v-75r : Sohbetü'l-ebkar ;. (II) ff 75v-108r : Sakiname (Alemnüma);. (III) ff 109v-180r : Nehatü'l-ezhar;. (IV) ff 181v-242v : Heft han. The text contains four unvans, two of which (ff 75v; 109v) have been removed from an older Persian manuscript and inserted in the current volume. The unvan on f 109v was taken from the title page of Saᶜdī's Gulistān. This manuscript is not dated but was likely copied in the late 17th or early 18th century CE.
